naked!face
i have thought about doing this, but when the gorgeous Kerri and the beautiful Rachel did it, i was all “hellz yes.” i challenge you all to do the same (assuming you’re not an anonymous blogger, of course!)!
Here’s my naked face:
Yep. that’s me. no makeup. and like all of you, i wish my skin tone was a little more even, and that maybe i could be twelve days shy of twenty-freaking-six years old and not break out anymore, but hey. i’m proud of me. and proud of the twelve-days-shy-of-twenty-six-years i’ve lived, loved, and most importantly learned. that smile is the smile of a girl who’s truly happy with herself, and knows that no matter what happens in life, there are people who will always be there for her. she’s a girl who’s finally comfortable with her natural hair color and feels like YES. brunettes DO have more fun. : ) she’s a girl who sees a face staring back at her that looks either “JUST LIKE YOUR DAD!” or “JUST LIKE YOUR MOM!” (depending on who’s doing the talking — usually it’s “JUST LIKE YOUR MOM!” — must be the eyes) but knows that she’s a perfect combination of two people who raised her to stand up for herself, to stand up for what’s right, and to always do her best. so what if the skin’s a little splotchy sometimes?
LOVE IT. you’re beautiful. :)
Gorgeous!
You are GORGEOUS! I love that you did this.
You look fabulous… for reals! Almost as fabulous as those ice-cream cone cupcakes are going to look!
SERIOUSLY? You are freaking gorgeous. How does one manage not to have patchy and/or reddish skin without makeup? Share you secrets, lady. Because it’s just not fair.
I adore your genuine smile in this photo – you just ooze confidence (yeah, ooze is a gross word, but whatever) and also, I’m jealous of your dimple. When I was little I always wondered if you could ever have a dimple surgically implanted in your face. I WANT ONE.
Heehee. You are adorable!
You are gorgeous!!
